Democracy Revitalization

Government “of, by, and for the people” means that when democracy falters, everyone shares the responsibility to fix it. To move forward as a state, we must strengthen Mississippi’s democratic process by better engaging our citizens. All of our democracy revitalization activities work to build an informed and engaged citizenry equipped to pressure our legislators and executive officials to adopt new, effective policies or hold our leaders accountable to properly implementing current laws and policies.
